The house is located inside a historic building that directly overlooks Piazza Duomo.
The interior of the house, bright and airy, has undergone numerous renovations before the arrival of Nicola and Claudia and retains traces of its origins in the Liberty-style cementine floor of one of the bedrooms. Carefully furnished in a modern, sober and essential style, it is particularly suitable for spending moments of relaxation in an informal atmosphere of welcome and hospitality.

The square was built at the end of the 14th century, after the Canneto river was covered, and in the Middle Ages it was one of the most important places in the city center. According to local historical sources, there are traces of the presence of the first nucleus of the palace since the 14th century. Next to it stood the "Palazzo Pubblico", with the adjoining chapel of S. Pietro a Curte, later replaced by the Archiepiscopal Seminary founded in 1635 by Archbishop Pichi, on whose facade it is still possible to admire a historic sundial.
Over time, the body of the palace has developed vertically with a peculiar terraced structure reminiscent of the lemon groves of the Coast. The exterior, as it appears today, is an elegant synthesis of the architectural styles that followed one another from the 18th to the 20th century, with the latest revisitations dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s.
